21.11 Nations Cup:
Vil starte +60 og +70 lagmesterskap
EM lag senior er for 50 år og eldre. Svenske initiativtakere vil utvide med to nye aldersklasser.

Det er mange som har deltatt i EM for lag senior som er blitt en del eldre og ikke klarer å kjempe mot 50-åringene lenger. Derfor er det tatt et initiativ til å endre på dette.

Dear golf friends all around Europe.
Many of us like to compete against each other and for our countries.

Many of us have played in the European Team Championship 50+ but unfortunately we have not yet been able to convince EGA to arrange a European Team Championship for 60 and 70+.

ISC and its members have decided to fill this gap and to organize a Nation Cup for these age categories. If it is successful, we feel that the Nation Cup will be the start of an established and recognised Team Championship where many countries in Europe and even outside Europe will participate.

Name: ISC Nations Cup
Governing body: ISC (International Senior Club founded by Nuno Pereira Machado and Francois Illoux)

Date: 28–31/8( Wednesday-Saturday) 2024,practise day 27/8.

Tournament:
Medal play qualifying Wednesday 28/8, matchplay 29–31/8, plate matches for loosing countries.

Rules: acc to EGA rules confirmed by the Swedish Golf Federation.

Team 60 and over, 4 men + reserve, min. 8 teams, hcp max 7

Team 70 and over, 3 men + reserve min. 6 teams, hcp max 12

Our goal is to have 16 teams of 60+ and 8 teams of 70+

Age rule: 28/8 2024,i.e. if you turn 60 or 70 on this date or earlier you may enter.

Date of entrance:
-Showing interest; December 15
-Confirmation of team 30/4 2024
-Name of players 10/8/24

-Captain: one for each team (60 and 70) or one captain for both teams.

Course: The National, Lakes Course.

Entrance fee: 1200 € for 60s team, 900 € for 70s team. Fee includes welcome drinks,formal dinner and a few other things which will depend on the possibility to attract sponsors.
Reserve player pays € 150

Merchandise: We will have an ISC Nations Cup shirt that you can order – more information coming soon.

Important to have as many countries joining as possible, including Ireland, England, Scotland and Eastern European. Trust most of western/nordic teams will join.

The Tournament is supported by the Swedish Golf federation and we are playing acc. to SGF and EGA rules.

Nations Cup is on the EGA tournament calender.

Her bør Norge stille lag. Banen er av ypperste kvalitet. Her gjorde det norske laget en meget bra innsats under EM for lag senior for noen år siden.
