Tilbake i Tyrkia
John Daly vant sin siste turnering i Tyrkia. Nå skal han tilbake.
Han lovet å komme tilbake til Beko Classic Pro-Am på Gloria Golf Club 11. - 16.

John Daly (50) vant overraskende US PGA i 1991 og The Open i 1995. Han har 20
profesjonelle seire hvorav fem på PGA Touren og tre på the European Tour
For to år siden vant John Daly the PGAs of Europe's Beko Classic på Gloria.
Første gang han var i Tyrkia var i 2010. Han likte seg godt på den femstjerners
resorten i Belek.
Daly sa: "When I first came to Turkey in 2010, I really loved the courses and
the people so much that for last two years, I have brought my family with me to
stay at Gloria - I even got engaged there two years ago. I love the courses at
Gloria and the practice facilities are as good as anywhere I have been. Winning
the Beko in 2014 was my first win for as few years so I took great pleasure in
it. This year, I have a full schedule on the Champions Tour but I made a promise
to come back so I am really looking forward to grippin' and rippin' round Gloria
again."

John Daly will be up against a wealth of talent as he mounts his challenge.
European Tour players Raymond Russell, Philip Golding, Chris Gane, Jamie Elson,
Gary Houston, Liam Bond and Jon Bevan are all named on the entry list, while
many other Challenge Tour and Senior Tour pros are also in a competitive field.
There will also be a host of exciting up-and-coming young professionals on view
with Haydn McCullen, Billy Spooner and Jack McDonald among those eager to make
their mark.
Situated 40 minutes from Antalya International Airport, the stunning luxury
resort celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2017 and offers a wide range of
accommodation with three luxurious and stylish five-star resorts on the beach:
Gloria Golf Resort, Gloria Verde Resort and Gloria Serenity Resort.
Featuring 45 holes, it is the biggest golf complex in Turkey with its
comprehensive golf facilities including two 18-hole championship layouts, a

The resort will also host further top events in 2017. The PGAs of Europe Annual
Congress & International Team Championship will be hosted from January 16-21,

Gloria will then stage the Turkish Airlines European Challenge Tour event for a
third straight year from April 24-30, 2017. From May 13-20, 2017, the Nuri
Ozaltin Gloria Centenary Pro Am 20 Year Celebration Pro-Am takes place with 50
teams from all over Europe, featuring top European pros.
It promises to be a busy calendar in 2017 with the return of David Edwards' New
Year Golf Trick Show (January 1, 2017) and the Gloria 20 Year Anniversary
Tournament (February 11-18, 2017).
